School Bullying

School Bullying

Physical or Social Media driven bullying of a young person regardless of whether it’s taking place inside or outside of school hours. School bullying can commonly lead to the following:-

  • Physical injuries
  • Feeling isolated or alone
  • Missing education
  • Loss of confidence
  • Feeling vulnerable or angry
  • Avoiding certain locations
  • Feeling helpless
  • Frustration and feeling that you are not being taken seriously

The Victim Care and Advice Service will provide you and you child with professional, personalised and independent support to help you cope and recover from the effects of the bullying. A Victim Care Officer will meet with you and discuss your concerns or any questions that you might have. We will then work together to  address those concerns, answer those questions and reduce the impact of the bullying.
